ah right okay! so if the car previous that the ECU was mapped on had a lower CR would require a more advanced ignition.
using low comp pistons, but the head has been skimmed a fair amount, so this would higher the CR by probably a fair bit, so could do with less advance.
and i see what your saying about the crank sensor, and when we set it up it was as close to that of what you have said. looks like i need to take it to someone to have a look at it and stuff,
