My Apprentice blew 42 and got a 12 month ban reduced to 9 months if he does a driving awareness course, and a £300 fine. The harsh thing is above his case in the local paper another lad was double the limit, crashed his car into a tree and got the same ban and a £100 fine. So my apprentice rang the courts to find out why the other lad got a lesser fine. Apparently because the other lad was in a low paid job and had broke his leg the courts went easy on him!!
