OK Mike,

This STEEL gasket was fitted to a small turbo Es Cossie,
running no more than 1.2 BAR boost (about 17 LBS/PSI)......

Because one of the nuts is very difficult to tighten up on
the 4x4 manifold, it will allways be the weak point
(unless it is correctlly/evenly tightened)........

This failure is NOT the fault of the steel gasket as such -
but you can see from the pics, the damage is the result of
incorrect fitting, it highlights the fact thar ALL 4 nuts/bolts need
to be done up correctly, and checked for tightness -
perhaps every 2k miles or so
