i'd go for a diesel galaxy, i've had a diesel mondeo mk3 but a TDDi, and my mates diesel galaxy would beat it on fuel economy all day long, and that thing used to haul a big trailer round no problem, if you can afford to run a petrol, go for the VR6 petrol ghiaX as they have all the toys and very often leather, its a nice high up seating possition as well, and they handle like a car.
