i think you have that the wrong way round mate.

i have a 2l mk1 focus with mx75 box and a standard 'open' diff and when i changed my drive shafts on friday there is a rod going across the middle of the whole. this is due to the design of a standard diff. lsd's dont have this and therefore you can see right through unobscured. (i dont know if all lsd's are like this though but 99% sure they are.
