You could just get away with ferodo pads yes but as well changing the discs for better ones if you are gonna replace them. Nothing fancy just good quality.

Please trust me on this, ferodo pads on std disks are more than upto the job, mine has been for 17 months or more.
for your hp and your missus driving theres no need for any more.
fit DS220 pads instead of DS2500 pads if your worried about heating up time. the DS220 are direct replacements.
