You will have to slightly ignore me, although I am not a complete muppet I just want some advice as I am new to Cosworth ownership. I bought a standard 88 saph cos last Friday, 65k fsh, and I mean standard. The hoses on the car are the original which brings me onto my question. As said the car has done 65k, but since last Friday I have done an unbelievable 500 miles, taking my time, giving a little stick but nothing to mad. Anyway as I got back to my garage today to put the car away, after about 5minutes of the car being off I heard this hissing, as I flipped the bonnet there was water leaking out of the smallest hose on the car. As of tomorrow I shall replace the hose and refil the car with water etc. I just wondered, sounds daft I know, if anyone would suggest any ideas/procedures I should take into consideration when doing this. I just want to make sure that after losing the water the car doesn't come to any damage.
