Took car to ford today and it turns out it was a plastic pipe clip attactached to the map sensor pipe jamming the throttle slightly open. What a f**king idiot i am. And the other rough idling issue on start up was owing to the pipe going into the map sensor not being air tight. Car is how it was before the whole shinanigans started. Thanks to you all for being so helpfull. You can imagine how embarrased I am!
