I don't think the bottom spot on the hub carrier will be of any concern, as it should move with the wheel, staying in the same position relative to the wheel.
The upper spot on the shock absorber, would make me try to simulate the suspension travel with the wheel on.
Or, if you can measure your standard wheel's gap to this point when raised on jack, then again when it is on the floor, to see what direction the wheel moves in relation to the shock.
I wouldn't have spacers unless absolutely neccessary either. Looking forward to seeing them on.
