hi i have a 1.4 chv fiesta si, it has fuel injection in the same style as the xr2i and i have 2 problems with it that may or may not be related.

1. it continues to rev for 4-5 seconds when the rev are supposed to drop, i.e changing gear/stopping.

2. it uses loads of fuel. i relise my driving style may not help but even when trying to save fuel i struggle to get 60miles out of £10! having a car that really is not very fast i'm sure you can see why i'm not to happy with it.

any ideas will be helpful as i'm not to keen on taking it to fords just yet.
