Default what do think? RST brakes, no abs, no prop valves and what master/servo

Hi all,

Right for any one who has seen my resto page, i have made up the rear brake lines, ditched the proportioning valves that operate off the swing arms and chucked the random abs away....

Now, i am planning to use inline brake compensator's from a mk5 escort like twins and puss have, but wondered (before i buy them) whether it would be better to buy an adjustable brake bias unit? Are the brakes diagonally split? (can't remember what the original pipes looked like

I want to keep the original rear drums, because they work well enough and look original

Next question

I have been looking at a few variations and options for servos and master cylinders.... what do people suggest? is there a direct fitting master cylinder that has decent bore size and fits the standard servo and doesn't give a spongy pedal.... what servo and master cylinder options are there... think crazy cage fitted a focus item recently but had to mod the inner wing to get it to fit? which i am not keen to do because of fresh paint

All suggestions are welcome want to get the brakes planned and bought this weekend....

Because i am using standard rst wheels the fronts are cosworth 4x4 calipers and 2wd disks.... are there any other (better) options when keeping standard wheels?

Thanks very much

Rob,
