If you going zvh dont go stage 3 on the head, standard valves with inlet and exhaust porting will be fine, ive gone zvh 2.0 with all steel internals, these engines naturally have the characteristics to pull all the power early on then drop off early but I have been talking in great depths with sitech about the final tuning of the car so with the correct cam, ignition and spark timing it will be interesting to force the engines power as far up the rev range as possible, only time will tell if the drawing board theories will work.

Still I would recommend full zetec over zvh which is probably not what you want to hear. Thats my next build
