Hello all,
On the way home from work tonight 3rd gear suddenly died on my Escort Cosworth, only had her 3 weeks, gutted!

All other gears run fine so managed to limp home but a horrible loud knocking/vibrating noise coming from the box even in neutral.
try and put into 3rd and there is nothing there at all.

You reckon it's likely to be just the actual 3rd gear, or a bearing related to it?

Will strip the box off this week and see whats happening inside it.
Is it possible to buy single parts/gears etc from anywhere?

Got a receipt for a full service and rebuild from Reyland Mototrsport done only 4K ago so wasn't expecting any problems!!

Any help would be really appreciated as I'm still new to Cossies!
