With the summer here or should I say nearly gone, well with the cossie heating up I decided to make some fans for my TURBO COOLER to cool things down even more.
Thing is a dodgy thermostat was the heating problems, so I got a 82 degree one and an uprated fan swith and all is happy and dandy now.
used 4 92mm computer fans and bolted them to a 90 degree strip or alluminium (top and bottom), drilled the hole and soldered all the wiring together etc etc. I am running them from the ciggy lighter power supply with 128 mili amps used all together so they are not burning anything out.
I need to perfect the top mount which as you can see is going over the turbo cooler.
The bottom of it is held on to the turbo coolers mount in the same way the turbo cooler is mounted on the radiator.
It is a bit of a funtional work in progress. Might need a sort of seal thing to stop air escaping around the top and sides aswell
Anyway enough of me babling on here are the pics.
Opinions welcome.
Dont know if they are cooling temps down yet though?
