Hello mate thanks for that , as for soldering can I get away with just twisting them together and covering with insulation tape

Ok went back to the shop and was given another set which came with the resistors this time , easily wired them up BUT the problem is STILL there even with the resistors in place !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew I should have just bought some bloody smoked ones instead
