religion is a kind of a taboo subject though just because there unfortunately is so many believers on the planet that have been sucked in,you rarely hear people publicly being negative about religions

At the start of most of the Indian soaps that are shown on channel 784 there is a disclaimer that goes along the lines of:
"All circumstances in the following program are fictcious and may not be ture either medically, lawfully or spiritually"
So I suppose that the other night when some woman poisoned her kid and it was dead, them praying for it to get better by chanting and standing in front of a statue of shiva instead of getting the kid to the doctor to see if they could provide some sort of antidote would be what millions and millions of Indians would do right
Even my old dear thinks that by going to one of them spiritual bonkers preacher types who you see on the telly shouting and pespiring all over the place is better than going to see the doctor about some ailment and that you should pray to god every day, it was fine when my gran used to say that god works in mysterious ways and we should be grateful for being well because she was from the generation before technology was invented, RIP grandma, I believe she still watches over me
