Been rumors about this for a while on the United boards, also that Gerrards partner Curran was involved with Derby player Chris Commons I think it was so probably all tied in. To be honest it would explain Gerrards shit season at Liverpool, never mind England.

Wouldn't surprise me TBH. Rooney is mental, used to box and good mates with Gerrard, always seen together at the training camp etc. Remember when a story hit the paper a while back about Rooney smacking some Blackburn player who was given his mrs mouth in a resturant, whilst he was still sat down.
