Default Ive Broken the mighty

TKO.
Been moaning about my clutch since ive had the car back, inconsistent bite point making it difficult to enjoy driving.
At 3pm today Mark said will only take 15min to drop box & check all is OK.

All seemed fine but closer inspection revealed the release bearing carrier had broken off, Held by the bearing it looked fine. Fitted 10+years ago it had an external slave cylinder pushing the orginal fork, the extra push had fatigued & finally broken the carrier. It had started cracking years ago & at some stage finally broken off. How i had driven it like that ive no idea but i had, I simply got to cope with the problem.
Coombe seemed a long way off.
Sometimes fate takes a hand the last TKO conversion Mark did was mine but Nicks Capri is having it done so a brand new box with piped up centre push bearing was standing on the floor before us. A quick phone call to Nick & i had the bits to proceed. It all fitted perfectly, even the pipes were inch perfect & fitted the same clips. The clutch now feels so good it cant be right .

By this time we were all knackered so prop & various other bits will be fitted tomorrow lets hope it works as good as it feels.

I would like to thank Mark, Deano & Nick for keeping the show on the road when i was not booked in .

I now have to do 2 days bird at MAD to help get a couple of customers cars back on track.
