HI all

After a second trip to german specialist after the first attempt to fix an oil leak failed (new seals and head gaskset) I've got a bizarre new addition in my engine bay.

A metal triangular box bolted inbewteen the battery and turbo (left hooker) with tubing running from the engine, injector side, into it and a second hose out the other side. Think there is a 3rd hose out the bottom.

The air filter has been disconnected (noticeable oil getting in there and leaking)

Fairly new to this game but is it a breather tank?

It looks shocking and if im not mistaken possibly inhouse fabricated...would post pics but newby account won't let me


any help/advice would be great.
