tbh i have learned more about god from a muslim friend than i learnt in church,,,, he was the one that told me there is just one god and different interpretations of it based on parts of the world hence moses/mohamed ect all have the similer names amd he is a VERY VERY smart person but he still takes he religion serious out of respect for hes family and so traveled for miles to touch a religious rock or stone or something

now i DONT belive in it,, BUT he has taught me to respect others choices and no longer call them " god botherers " or nut jobs out of mutual respect for him

he managed to not only respect my thoughts but managed to turn my reaction to him that im guessing offended him but he done it in a very smart way that a ignorant prick like me took the time to listen which is fucking hard tbh

think your mate needs to find better ways to get hes point across too tbh
