Did a vagcom on the faults today....

17664 Coolant temp sensor G62 Open Circuit P1256
17965 Turbo Pressure Control Limit P1557
17978 ECU blocked P1570

Cleared all the codes, and turned car back on and didnt get anything. Will get them checked again tomorrow....

Im guessing the turbo pressure fault was due to when the turbo blew up and the ecu blocked one is an attempt at starting the car at some point with immobiliser still enabled

Where is the temp sensor on the gt tdi's? Ive got 2 golfs and can swap them over and test tomorrow.

Is this a good bet at the low MPG?
