Thanks guys, still sounds like a go-er from the feedback I've had so far... when is the major service due on these?? Also, are the service intervals every 12k miles? What about prices for parts (brakes, bushes, exhaust... wear and tear etc) for this car??

Its a 2007 TS Hatchback that she's looking at. Its also finished in a Gunmetal Metallic that reacts really well in the sun, is very slightly higher mileage for the year but the price reflects this and she doesnt do massive mileage at the moment so it should even itself out over time as she plans to keep this next car for a while.

Out of interest, do these respond well to a remap? Its a slightly irrelevant question if she drives it 99% of the time... but depending on how much I end up driving it, could be something which I might look into.
