Can the new software also be used to map the older ECU's?
(sounds like they are compatible in that respect if the old software will map the new one) obviously minus any new features working of course.

This is the one update that you just know HAS to be an improvement as the current mapping software by emerald is by far the worst in the business and despite years of experience myself as a software engineer myself I can think of NO way in which it could possibly be made worse, so by definition the new stuff just MUST be a massive imrpovement if its different, as it couldnt possibly be worse!
