Default EFI flywheel

Hi all,

My clutch has recently decided to slip away so I will be replacing it soon.

My car is currently running mfi, I was considering changing to efi but as I don't have the bits yet I can't really start (rather do it in one hit).

My question is, with the gearbox out to replace the clutch, could i replace the flywheel to an efi and still leave the rest in tact (MFI) whilst I collect the bits. I assume that it won't cause issues?. If I have an efi flywheel, does that mean I no longer require the sensor to be over the crank?

Which is the better method (reliability wise) flywheel or crank pully?

Many thanks

Dave
