Check the signal to noise ratio, below about 8 the router has a hard time keeping the line connected. if its low, try removing the facia from the master socket and plugging the router directly into the connection that lies behind. If the snr improves then it could be poor wiring within the house, if it remains low then could be wiring from exchange to your house.
