Basically i have 2 different routers in the past year, one which worked well was a "Dynamode" jobbie, id never heard of it but it worked well until recently, it just randomly stopped working and the "link" light kept flashing.

So i plugged in my old adsl speedtouch modem and that took a while to connect but i was up and running, then i noticed it was half my normal speed? is this perhaps the reason why the router dropped connection maybe? anyway i went away for the weekend so i plugged the router back in to see if it would connect on its own while i was away and it did, but then i was only using it for an hour and it dropped again.

So now im back to using the old speedtouch modem, but again it seems to be below my "normal" speed.

Im not too clued up on routers but im guessing theres a connection(no pun intended) between my line speed slowing down AND my router suddenly ceasing to work?
