Hi, I am totally new to this and know nothing about cars!!! I bought a Fiesta 1.25 style climate, Duratech engine, 56 reg (37,00 miles) in February. It has had faults since I got it, been back to the dealer twice, they said they couldn't find anything wrong, but then offered to exchange it for another car. Waited 8 weeks - no offer of an exchange car. Asked for a refund - they are refusing!!

I wondered if anyone could throw some light on the faults for me? Please remember I know nothing about cars!! Firstly it is vibrating horribly - both heard and felt - every time I get to about 1400 - 1500 revs. This happens in whatever gear I am in. It has now also started to make a "squeaky" noise as I drive along - towards the back (sounds a bit like squeaky springs) and also a rattling at the back of the car.

Secondly there are several electrical problems - all intermittent (sadly!) - the courtesy light sometimes does not go off (stays on for over 40mins & I have to turn off manually). The cd display light sometimes stays on, the light where mileage is displayed on the dash sometimes stays on, the car doors suddenly locked & then unlocked themselves, the remote key has failed to work twice.

I have had a look at the diagnostics page they gave me and there are two things on there which say 'FAIL' - but I don't know if they are relevant??
