i did mine in 2007, i was able to do my class 2 (rigids) then jumped staright to class 1(artic) i didnt do the 7.5t test however i think thats recently changed but im not 100%.

you will have to re-take the theroy as they were only valid for 2years so yours has expired.
once you have passed your test you can apply for the digi tacho card.

my advice would be choose another career as truck driving is shite and money isnt fantastic.
