well so much has happened since the last update, it ended up having a viper 480xv fitted like my si, tidied the wiring up

, and managed to get the fan running properly, after all that i decided it was time to slowly get her ready for an mot, so i gave sky insurance a ring and ended up paying £1450 tpft, after this i rang around a couple of mot bays and decided on a nice place about 2-3 miles away so off it went, about 2 hours later i get a phone call saying my Rs had failed on a wheel bearing, two anti roll bar bushes, a head light bulb and my emissions. turns out the guy had some how managed to unplig the healight and not notice , after much ringing around i managed to get the wheel bearing fitted and bought some bushes, now this is where it gets incredibly funny, i ring the mot place back up saying ive done all the work myself and would they be able to fit me my bushes + linkage as the bolts had seized, after much debate they said they would do it the next day, so 8 am the next day off i went again to drop my Rs off, now i tried to catch the mot bay out and swapped my si clocks with my Rs ones, this is due to my Rs speedo not working properly, But i didnt tell them and just left them in the passenger footwell :lolz: now the day before i had my mate a head mechanic a pegeot take a look, we noticed the sill had split but other than that it was a straight pass, even on the emissions  , after putting some injector cleaner in to be on the safe side. anyways 3 hours went by this time, this is the exact responce i got,
well im afraid your car has failed again.Them
I'm sorry but what on ??. Me
Wheel bearing, emissions, headlight, anti roll bar bushes.
How is this possible when ive sorted it all and supplied you with the bushes, and it passed on emissions when i checked it.
well your car will need £150 labour to fit these bushes as you need all new lower arms and a wish bone.
I will be up in a minute. me
do you want me to start the work on your car.
No i want my keys back as your taking the piss.
So at this point i was pretty fuming that A. they was trying to take me for a mug and B. they knew about as much mechanics as a chimp. To top it off i walk in and demand my keys back to the receptionist, now i was trying to stay calm at this point, anyways she wouldnt have it and fetched the manager, who then starts going on about retests not been free and he handed me the retest sheet, so as he was going on about paying him for the retest i asked him to read what it said on the odometer, anyways he said o it says 6000, i said really so you have done over 9000 in 3 hours, i said those clocks wasnt even in, at that point he shut up and gave me my keys back, and then the cheek goes well once you done work are you bringing it for a retest, at that point i went am i bollox and walked out :banghead: , now i never lose my temper with anyone but when they clearly lie to you, and it was even parked in same spot i let it in.
After ringing my mate i booked it in for the sills and the door lock to be welded up as it had been broken when i bought it, he did an excellent job and i mentioned about the above to which he went on a rant, i wont post it for the fear of been banned for bad language

but points me in way of a mec, after giving this guy a ring he says bring it down in next 30 min and we will do bushes and sort it for you

, after warming the exhaust up to bring the emissions down

i left the car with him, but mentioned about what had happened and pleded for him to pass it

. anyways 3-4 hours went by and i get a phone call, fearing the worse i was abit hesitant, but he was cheery and said it's passed with no problems not even an advisory

i checked atleast 5 times he wasnt pulling my leg and shot off straight down there to pick it up

, he only wanted £88 to fit a new linkage arm, 2 bushes and un seizing the bolts and mot

turns out my emissions are 1.2% and your allowed 3.8% so again i was incredibly mad at been ripped off by the other garage.
Anyways alot of work has been done in the recent weeks, full interior strip and rust proofed the entire inside

refitted all the trim as it was stood for ages it had gone discoloured and manky

refitted the seats and sorted a few niggles in the wiring. bought it a new clutch as some times it would slip in 2-3, and its now getting fitted for £200 which includes the cost of the clutch which is a heavy duty one. Well here are some updates, excuse the dogy paint, its getting a respray soon.
