NO loctite under any circumstances, the most important thing is to depth check, due to machining tolerances hole depth can vary a little.
You need to first clean out the threads in the block, using a tap and grease etc, then when inserting the studs look very carefully at the area immediately above the bottom thread, you will see it has a shoulder, that sits in a tiny recess around the threads, it MUST butt up against these shoulders and NOT bottom out, if needed trim a few mm from the length of any stud where the hole may be a little bit shallow, this won't cause a problem but al;lowing one to bottom out can pull the threads in the block when torqued up.
All you need to do then is to insert studs, then just a gentle nip 1/8 turn with some mole grips on the non threaded part of the stud to ensure fully sat on shoulders.
Do not use loctite on the nuts either, kills the torque reading, I put a few drops of 40W engine oil and torque up to 120lbft, leave it to have a rest for at least 4 hours then retorque, failure to allow rest can result in hg failure, esp if using a YB 0611(group a), which is what I use.
