Depends what you class as quick, but it wont be a slow car by no means, well worth the cost if thats what you worried about. Plenty of power to drift in the dry . You can use a bug-eye but it will be hassle, you need to get a granada 24v ideally it will make your life so much easier as you can swap so much more over, i.e power steering if you havn't got it already? No need to worry about starter motors they dont break, its the gearboxs that let go if you abuse them. But again you can get people to make you one up for little money.

Like people are saying you could wack a yb in but you may as well wait and buy the real thing, a 24v will be a much easier conversion because you'll have another car to rob all the bits from.
