Yeah I see what you are saying, my point is that all cars were driving cautiously due to the damp track and it was only the evo's that were having the problems.
Add to the mix that the aforementioned tyres may be somewhere in the range of 235-265 wide, they will displace water far less effectively than their thinner counterparts (as used on most other effective track-cars) and the fact that the drivers probably do lack a little bit of talent in terms of wet cornering and you have a whole lot of Evo's in the kitty-litter.
