wait a good few weeks before you stove his head in. several reasons, 1 you need things to cool down incase the police get involved. Too close to the attack and its pretty obvious who done him in and with circumstantial evidence and maybe one or two bits of dubious evidence might be enough for the CPS to prosecute (ironically if you wanted to prosecute him they probably wouldnt bother )

Also doing him in a few weeks later will shit him up more. Hed expect revenge in short order. Doing it a few weeks later makes you out as a bit of a psycho/bearing a grudge, so he has reason to be afraid of you then.
