Different car altogether but similar issues. I managed to screw my DMF and clutch up on my remapped TDI octavia estate, and went for the cheaper solid flywheel / clutch option.
It was "OK", but there was an underlying vibration that i could always feel through the clutch pedal which really got on my nerves after a while.
Like the OP has said if the OE set up has lasted 112k, that aint too bad tbh, and will you still have the car when its done 224k?
If you can afford it, id go with DMF all the time, like Tiff said if ford could have got away with a normal solid flywheel, they would have done.
