Brothers just bought a MK4 GT TDI Aniversary. Fucking cracking car. Got a hybrid turbo, milteck exhaust and something, re mapped to 200BHP and over 300FT/LBS of torque, pretty quick and even if you hammer the arse out of it, it still does 50MPG.

I agree though, it's not a throwable car, don't handle as well as my Escort and his has an adjustable ARB and HR coilovers.

They do get gear selection problems selecting 3rd gear though.
