I have changed the tyres to vredestien (spelling????) as these are hard wet weather tyres with good reports, ill monitor how these wear, as for alignment, ill look at an independants read out, but my issues are not with the dealer, as they are currently backing me 110%.

i had a simular problem with my mondeo st, which ate michelins, in the same manor over 8000miles, now cured by fitting different tyres and having the wheel alignment adjusted to ford spec.

im still fuming that ford dismissed the claim as wear, without seeing the tyres or sending them away to the manufacturer.......
