yes, and karl will back me on this

if the knock sensor is disconnected, it will detect permanent knock thus massive retard of ignition and prolly a 1.6 NA will beat ya?

however, to remove knock sensor issues i experienced, remove the WHOLE knock sensor, leave it connected and wrap in a bubble wrap
