Default E60 M5

I have the possible oppertunity to aquire an M5, however it has been in storage since around Jan 2007.

I will be viewing the car in the next week or so, which is on an 06 plate and HPi clear.

I am greatly concerned about the fact its been stood for so long. So, a couple of questions at the moment are buzzing round my head.

1. What should I offer?

2. What parts would likely need replacing on it. Tyres and brakes are the obvious ones, but are there any other parts which would not be enjoying its long holiday from the road?? Could the head gasket of perished in any way?

3. What precautions should I take before attempting to start it? I'm thinking of taking a lead off to crank the engine over a few times before actually firing it, to get it lubricated. Clearly I do not want to cause any damage it.

4. Anything else I should be considering?
