Default Fuel pump problem MK4 XR3i (k-Jetronic)

Hi guys, i have a problem with my XR3i and it is freakin me out. It only have 70,000 km on it and i only use my XR3i once in a fortnight because i have another car.

About 3 years ago i had a problem with my fuel pump and i bought a new one. After just 15 days my new fuel pump was damaged and i took it from where i bought it and he replaced it for me. I installed my second new fuel pump, and after a while this pump also was damaged. The hissing noise starts to get louder and louder and after a while it will stop working.

I took my car to my mechanic and he checked the car for me and also my three fuel pumps. He told me that the 2 fuel pumps that i bought was completely damaged and he found a metal fuel pipe pinched and he repaired it for me and he installed my old (original fuel pump) and my car was working well.

After about a year, my fuel pump was damaged again and i replaced it with a new one because i tought that it had some wear and tear on it Firstly, because i used it when i had that pipe pinched and secondly, because it had been on my car for about 20 years.

And guess what???

My new pump also was damaged after just 2 months.....

Have someone ever seen something like this?

And can someone please help me out to solve my problem?

because i have no idea why the fuel pumps are always getting damaged.

Thanks in advance
