ive always thought you cant do this but why not...

i have an yam r6 that i want to get my mate insured on so he can ride it while i ride my other bike.

my insurance company wont insure him, young and had a few crashes in his car.

can he take out his own third party only policy with another insurer?

if he crashes they can claim off him, if i crash they claim off me, if its stolen i have the theft cover he doesnt so ill claim,

theres no way we can scam the insurance by cliaming its stolen twice etc, so can i get away with it?
