anyways, you say it need new bearings so these will be pretty similar to standard if not differeant at all so £140 is a good guide price, thats what I paid which included parts and labour.

Apparently Quaife drastically under-rate their gearsets for warentee perposes by 30% as they assume they will have the hell rung out of them in competition use, so, in theory it should handle the 280-300LBS of tourque I should expect from my spec. Apart form bearing failure due to the shite design of the casing itself which cant really be helped, the usual failures are stripping gear teeth and snapping mainshafts. When I took this box to bits the quality of the gears and shafts etc is 1000 times better than the Ford stuff, so I can't see my having a problem.
I don't abuse my car either TBH so I should be fine. I should have gone MTX but I've ran out of budget now TBH and just want it on the road. Plus I want to experience the straight cut whine for just a little time and the 110/120 MPH top speed should help stop me loosing my licence
