hello i have just bought a RS500 cooler and want to fit a dump valve back on it but it has no place for it??

i was going to drill a hole on the cool side before where the hose goes on and weld a little piece of pipe on the put the 90 bend off the small original intercooler on with my bailey dump vale on?

will that work?

any ideas
