I raced against him recently.

I lost .

Had no idea who he was, he just happened to be at the Kart centre when we had Franco's stag do. Suffice to say he won LOL. He then got his much younger "girlfriend / wife / mistress" to collect the trophy.

I only NOW realised who he was from looking up Chris Hodgetts on google, as I still hadn't heard of him . But when I saw his photo, I thought - "I know that bloke from somewhere" .

I thought it was a bit pretentious that he was kart racing with a funky metallic green crash helmet with a drinks tube and pukka race overalls . I don't feel so bad about loosing to a 60 year old now .
