+1 but there again you do get people who think they know better than the experts, and some do it because they don't understand it's function and prefer turbo chatter but if you can understand what the chatter noise is you can understand why it's not good.

To the ERST people were you using the correct twin piston type?

The main factor being the amount of boost produced the higher the boost the more damage will be done to the turbo.

As to your question as said do not T into the Fuel reg or MAP feeds they should be connected directly to the plenum, there should be a spare nipple you can connect to, I to found car run better WITH it.
