I had a car for sale (An Evo) the lad was bringing the cash so he could collect the car ... I was in my scruffy clothes, because I told the lad I would polish the car up for him etc

cut a long story short, Lad paid me the 10k in cash, i put 5k into saving account . Had 5k cash spare & I had already decided I was going to buy a new watch.

Still wearing my scruffy adidas tracky & t shirt, I entered a certain high street jewellers (higher end of the scale). When I asked to look at an omega seamaster the guy serving virtually laughed me out of the shop

He just left the watch in the counter just pointed to the price tag & said we have serious buyers for that type of watch.

I stood for a second totally embarrassed that he was treating me like a fool, that was until his (I am guessing who was the boss man here spied that I was wearing a Rolex GMT MASTER II already) the bos man soon pushed the other man out of the way.

The attitude suddenley changed from me being the scum of the earth to being the most important customer.

I got free champagne & a private viewing room made available & the full shoot.

Never bought the watch from them , I purchased a limited edition seamaster from a small jewellers 2 weeks later.
