some say yes some say no, depending on boost according to most, my own view is yes they are beneficial after much nagging by my lad to get some chatter I disconnected mine and the difference was horrendous, laggy as shit, I stopped after going through town with a "wounded" sounding car and reconnected the DV, ah joy nice and crisp again.
Just try it is the best advice decide for yourself.
