Hi all! i have a 2wd cosworth i bought september time last year. Noticed after a few days that the fans didnt start up when in traffic and nearly cooked the engine! So when i got the car back home i was told to run 2 wires direct from the battery to the fans and they went straight away, so ordered a new uprated fan switch from msd thinking that would cure the problem but went out last weekend in the car and noticed the temp gage getting high and couldnt here any fans so took it home left it ticking over and temp gage nearly went into red and still no fans. So took the plug off the fan switch and put some wire in to complete circut and the fans started so not sure what the problem is?? Ive heard that the fan loom is crap on the sierra cosworth but wouldnt what ive done above prove that its not the wiring?

Could i have bought a faulty fan switch? Dont think its the temp guage.

Would like to get this sorted as i plan on driving up to croft next sunday
