Can you get a complete pair of strut + hub assemblies from a breakers? Should be a lot cheaper than getting bearings changed etc. Discs/pads - try unipart / eurocarparts. Rather than change CV joint, get a second hand drive shaft from a breaker and change it when you swap the struts over. Happy days.

Pair of struts - £60?
2nd hand drive shaft - £25?
Set of discs/pads - £75?
= ~£160 - if you can get trade on the discs/pads you're definitely quids in.
