i do not think it would deter them as its all part of the parcel to them and the bennifits out way the risks, also remember alot of cosworths are stolen by pikey's like mine was and the police are not interested even if you catch them red handed as they don't want the hassle it will cause because at the end of the day its just a car to the police.
