Does the length and shape of the pipes make any difference to the performance of the manifold, i can see that the manifold i have has much longer pipes and is a totaly different shape.
I've read before that exhaust manifold pipe lengths should be "tuned" so that the exhaust pulse of one cylinder should help to "scavenge/charge" another cylinder?? (Graham Bell's "Forced Induction Performance Tuning" book - a good read I found

). Anyone know anything about this?, I suppose in an application such as an RST you are very limited by available space.
